This Saturday
James will play his
150th game
for Jindalee during the U14s Div 2 game at home
against Ferny Grove. James started playing for
Jindalee at U/8s and has only missed a small handful
of games through 9s, 10s, 11, 12s & now in his
second yr of 14s this is a great milestone to be
achieved as a 14yr old. Winning a premiership at
U/12s was certainly a highlight but running out with
the Jags on Saturday
will be a great
occasion as well. In addition to playing 150 games
James is a 1st year BJ Umpire and is also hoping
for an umpiring appointment during this year's
finals series.

Liam (u14) and Jordan (u12) Plumridge will be
heading out for their 100th game against Kenmore
on Sunday at home in the under 14 game. Both
Liam and Jordan have played all there Aussie
Rules Football for Calamvale and it is a great
achievement for them both as well as being
extremely fortunate that they will both be
playing there 100th game in the same game.
Congratulations and well done, we look forward to
the next 100 from both of you at the Leopards. |

GROUNDS TO BE RE-OPENED |

AFL Queensland's
Facilities Manager Nick Jefferey has re-opened some grounds
after hours of aerating and watering to bring the ground
hardness levels down. Grounds to be re-opened for
training purposes from today, and for games from next week
are Everton, Sandgate and Strathpine. Changes made to
the draw due to ground closures for this weekends games
(June 17) will not be changed back because there is not
enough time to notify all parties. Changes to the draw
for games during the weekend of June 24 have been made again
to put games back at the venues that had been closed.
Please check your draw thoroughly to ensure you know where
you are playing. |

IPSWICH
CENTRAL CATS DONATION TO CHARITY |

Ipswich
Central Junior AFC will be hosting a charity day on
the 10th June with 75% of all takings not
just profits, on the day will be donated to Drug
Arm. This is the second year Ipswich has had the
charity day with last year donating $1300 to Drug
Arm, and this year the Cats are hoping to reach
$2000.
We believe
this is an achievable target with 9 home games on
the 10th June with the first commencing
at 9 am and the last game finishing about 6:30 pm
With many
worthy causes to give to we have chosen Drug Arm as
we see that if more families and young people get
involved in sport that they will not need to get
involved with drugs.

Boys college and established a satellite club at the

Wynnum Vikings club banner. Home games and
training will be at the College. This is a
great opportunity for the parents and boys at MBBC and
